SILVER CLAY WORKSHOP

We work with 7g of Art Silver Clay, you can make as many pieces of jewellery with that as you wish, in general the material is enough to make a ring and pendant for example. The design is completely up to you and your skill level. We provide you with all the necessary instructions, help and tools. If you want, you can bring some inspiration pictures or also have a look at our example rings at the workshop. On our instagram you can find some jewellery that were created in past workshops.

Silver Clay is a clay-like material made of fine silver particles mixed with a non-toxic organic binder. When fired, the binder burns away, leaving behind solid, pure fine silver that can be polished, shaped, or further refined.

Gold plating:
We gold plate the pendants with 3 micron and the rings with a 5 micron coating, which is thicker than the usual fashion jewellery, but with gold plating it is always the case that the coating will wear off over time. The good news is that the ring can always be gold plated again, so please contact us if your ring needs to be refreshed.
